CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!

The AYSO 2009 Section 5 Games are now a part of history. They were a great success with 82 teams from 5 of the 7 Areas and a total of 16 regions. We had over 1200 players and adding coaches, referees, and tournament and section staff, we had more than 1600 participants and most likely another 1400-2000 spectators. Even with the heat (temperatures rising over 100 degrees) everyone had a great time. Considering we all probably drank 2-3 gallons of water each day, we consumed about 30,000 gallons of water!.

We will be meeting in July to wrap up the 2009 tournament and beginning to plan for next year. Feel free to send suggestions and what needs to be fixed (tdirector@sectionfivegames.org). Our meeting is tentatively 24 July.
